Purpose of Position.

A. Direct responsible of establishing engineering processes and procedures that promote an efficient operation, support the selection of equipment and provide process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

2. Mention the major responsibilities and tasks of the position.

A. Maintain a close surveillance over the operation area through perusal of reports, observations and personal contact to assure conformance to assure established process and procedures.

B. Coordinate and participate in the CAB Engineering correction action team.

C. Oversee installation and initial use of new equipment to ensure proper use, operation and integration into the department.

D. Direct technical, clerical and hourly departmental employees as required for the efficient and timely completion of tasks, projects and assignments.

E. Be accountable for the timely completion of projects. .

5. Minimum Knowledge and Skill Requirements.

A. Education.

ü Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.

B. Work Experience.

ü Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience

ü Knowledge and operation of a diversity manufacturing equipment

C. Additional Skills.

ü Computer skills.

ü Fully bilingual.

ü Lean Manufacturing Course
