Role Overview
This role with Job Duck offers an opportunity to be the welcoming voice and first point of contact for clients while supporting the smooth daily flow of a growing organization. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with people, maintaining an organized schedule, and ensuring each interaction feels professional and attentive. You will handle phone communication, schedule appointments, gather initial client information, and assist with light marketing tasks as needed. As the team continues to expand, this role will gradually evolve to include additional responsibility in intake, sales, and marketing support, allowing you to grow professionally within the organization. A candidate who communicates clearly, stays composed under volume shifts, and collaborates well will thrive in this position.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST (USA)
Your Responsibilities Will Include but Are Not Limited To:
- Conducting basic intake tasks and gathering initial client information
- Following up with current and potential clients as needed
- Providing administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations
- Answering incoming calls and serving as the first point of contact for clients
- Maintaining accurate records in the CRM system
- Managing communication volume, particularly on high traffic days
- Coordinating consultation calls
- Supporting future sales and social media tasks as responsibilities expand
- Assisting with light marketing activities as delegated
- Scheduling appointments and maintaining an organized calendar
What We’re Looking For:
- At least one year of experience working as a receptionist
- Strong communication skills
- Professional phone etiquette
- Detail-oriented approach
- Ability to manage scheduling and organization
- Collaborative mindset
- Respectful and professional conduct
- Reliable work ethic
- Ability to adapt to added responsibilities over time
- Comfort with client interaction and follow-up
- Basic familiarity with marketing or willingness to learn
- Reliable computer setup (laptop/PC, headset, stable internet min. 10 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload)
- Quiet, distraction-free remote work environment
